First Day of School

Yesterday I started classes at our local community college. I'm taking two design courses this semester. My first class was Basics of Color and Design. I had no idea that this was an actual art class...drawing and everything! Should be interesting. My second class is Intro to Digital Media. I think I'm really going to like this class!

I walked out of that class with a 2 page paper due and 90 pages of reading...welcome back to school! The paper is actually an assignment I can appreciate. We are to look up five different job descriptions for the design career of our choosing (i.e. graphic design, web design, web production...). Then, we are to write a paper about what requirements are needed for that job and our plan to become equipped to fulfill those requirements.

I sat down last night to begin writing my paper and had a moment of panic. WHERE WAS I SUPPOSED TO PUT MY NAME? is so silly but I haven't written a paper in 3 years! Still not sure if my name is in the correct spot on my paper, but at least the paper is nearly finished.

This should be an interesting semester balancing my several part-time jobs and school.

Matt's Facebook status yesterday: Anne started college classes today. Which means I am 29 and married to a college student. Pretty sweet.
